Research activities

Silicon semiconductor technology has been restlessly evolving from the invention of the integrated circuits until today and this rhythm is foreseeable will continue the next decade. During all this time circuits design and test rules have been changing criterions, adapting to new problems and improving performances. This frenetic activity not only will keep next decades but it probably will be each time more and more intense.

Nowadays circuits are working in conditions that could not be imagined years ago, in both design and test fields, and we can be sure that the same scenario will be in the future, moreover newer and more imaginative fields of research and application could appear at the time the technology cross its frontiers towards new paradigms.
